ливанский фунт (стандартная денежная единица Ливана); = 100 пиастрам. Ввоз и вывоз иностранной и местной валют, а также операции с золотом не ограничиваются. Курс ливанского фунта по отношению к иностранным валютам устанавливается на свободном денежном рынке и применяется по всем валютным операциям. С 1948 г. Бейрут является крупным международным рынком золота.
